For the first edition of our new Gastronomic Residency Program, we invite gourmands to embark on an extraordinary journey through Cambodia’s culinary heritage.

Under the guidance of our mostly local kitchen team you will learn how to balance the sweet, salty, sour and bitter notes for which Khmer cuisine is while discovering star produce and unsung heroes.

Sustainability is a central tenet of our culinary offering here at Song Saa, so much of the course focuses on low waste and circular economy principles. We’ll also discuss some of the challenges facing the local supply chain, including overfishing and climate change.

Food is fundamental to any culture and this programme offers a privileged glimpse inside the real Cambodia. Classes will take place across our two private islands as well in markets and farms on the neighboring islands of the Koh Rong Archipelago.

There will also be plenty of time to enjoy our wild wellbeing offering, take part in daily fitness sessions and connect with the inspiring ecosystem we call home – as well as to relax beside your private plunge pool.
