THE ROLE

The Assistant Learning & Development Manager will work alongside the HR leadership team to design, deliver, and embed a culture of continuous growth across the resort. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support the design and delivery of onboarding, technical training, and leadership development programmes
• Identify training needs through observations, performance data, and stakeholder consultation
• Maintain accurate training records, calendars, and L&D documentation
• Champion a culture of service excellence through ongoing coaching and skills reinforcement
• Assist in developing e-learning content and training materials aligned with Song Saa brand standards
• Assist in organising recognition programs, cultural events, and community-building activities
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and joyful workplace environment
• Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication
• Assist in organizing interviews, assessments, and onboarding logistics
• Ensure new hires receive a warm, structured, and values-aligned introduction to Song Saa
• Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR documentation
• Support HR reporting, data entry, and compliance requirements using HR system
• Assist with contract & payroll, preparation, forms, and administrative workflows
• Provide general HR support to team members and department heads

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in HR, Hospitality Management, Education, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of L&D or training experience, ideally within luxury hospitality
• Confident facilitator with the ability to engage diverse, multicultural teams
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Creative and confident in designing training materials and staff activities
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Flexible with working hours, weekends, and public holidays
• Comfortable living and working in a remote island environment

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Supervise and inspire the Guest Experience team across all guest-facing interactions
• Oversee pre-arrival communication, in-villa preferences, and departure arrangements
• Handle complex guest requests and resolve any concerns swiftly and with composure
• Liaise across departments — spa, F&B, activities, housekeeping — to ensure seamless coordination
• Train and coach ambassadors on guest communication and service standards
• Support upselling of resort experiences, dining, spa, excursions, and activities
• Warm, genuine service style and cultural sensitivity
• Ensure accurate guest information is shared and followed up on

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 3 years in luxury hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role
• Exceptional communication skills; written and verbal in English. Mandarin a plus
• Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and emotionally intelligent
• Experience with Opera PMS or similar property management system preferred
• A genuine passion for creating extraordinary, personalised guest experiences
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and proactive.
• Proven ability to anticipate needs, personalise experiences and manage multiple tasks.

As Spa Supervisor, you will be the guardian of our guests' wellness journey —overseeing daily Saraan Sanctuaries operations, leading a team of skilled therapists, and ensuring every treatment and touchpoint reflects the Song Saa standard of excellence. This is a leadership role for someone who inspires by example and finds deep satisfaction in crafting transformative guest experiences.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead, schedule, and mentor the spa team, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery
• Oversee all aspects of daily spa operations including treatment rooms, retail, and member bookings
• Conduct quality checks and ensure all treatments meet brand and safety standards
• Handle guest feedback gracefully, resolving concerns with professionalism and warmth
• Collaborate with the Associate Director of Wellbeing & Spiritual Care on programming, promotions, and new treatments
• Manage inventory, supplies, and spa retail with attention to cost control

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 3 years of spa experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a luxury resort or resort spas
• Recognised qualification in beauty therapy, massage, or holistic wellness
• Yoga experience is an advantage but not required
• Strong interpersonal skills — a natural leader who communicates with care
• Fluentin English communication, written or verbal.

• Welcome and assist guests at arrival, throughout their stay, and at departure
• Provide personalised recommendations for dining, excursions, and experiences on and off the island
• Anticipate guest preferences and proactively enhance their stay
• Handle feedback and service recovery with empathy and professionalism
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to relevant departments
• Escort guests and explain resort facilities, services, and experiences
• Respond to guest questions professionally and confidently
• Support service recovery by reporting concerns quickly

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all resort departments, from requisition to delivery
• Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms while maintaining quality and sustainability standards
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with store room and department heads to avoid short falls
• Ensure all purchasing activity complies with internal controls and approval processes
• Track and report on purchasing costs, identifying opportunities for savings without compromising quality
• Support sustainable sourcing initiatives in line with Song Saa's conservation values
